Meet Our Team
Rowena Flack
General Manager
Rowena's passion and dedication to improving the opportunities for children to play sports in her local area led her to found the Forest Killarney Basketball Association Inc. Her hard work and commitment have helped to create a positive impact on the community, providing children with a safe and fun environment to develop their skills and love for the game.
Experience:
- Rowena is a highly experienced with over 10 years of experience in children's sports. She has also spent 3 years running the basketball program at Killarney Heights High School, where she has helped many young athletes develop their skills and reach their full potential. With expertise and passion for coaching, Rowena is dedicated to helping children achieve their goals and become the best athletes can be.
Certifications:
Rowena holds an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management and her extensive experience in business and marketing has been instrumental in the success of her small business for the past 15 years. Her expertise has also led her to establish and manage the Forest Killarney Basketball Association.
Coach Stefan valkovic
Head Coach
Coach Stefan is a passionate coach who instills his love for the game into every athlete he coaches. He provides his athletes with all the necessary tools to help them be their best.
Experience:
- Meet our basketball expert with over 10 years of experience in playing and coaching. He is currently playing for Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in NBL1 and has also coached at the rep club level as an assistant coach to the U12 Manly program. He has been involved with various basketball camps and private schools within the Northern Beaches area, making him a valuable asset to our team.
- Stefan's experience playing and training in Europe has given him a wealth of knowledge that he is eager to share with kids who are willing to work hard and improve With his global perspective, Stefan is uniquely equipped to help young athletes reach their full potential.
Certifications:
Stefan is Accredited with many qualifications. He currently holds a BNSW level 1 coaching qualification, Cert 3 and 4 in fitness, first aid and CPR, anaphylaxis, Child protection certificate, concussion training, and Working with children check. He is well-equipped to provide safe and effective coaching and training services. Athletes can trust that they are in good hands!
